6 weeks into Semaglutide and I have lost 15 pounds. I am extremely thankful this was made available to me as I have had problems holding weight due to hormones/pcos. I had a hip injury and losing the extra weight has really helped my bones and joints feel so much better, my journey isn’t complete and I have a little bit more ways to go but wanted to share my experience thus far.

Before taking the compounded Semaglutide I was in a weight loss rut and ready to give up. After hearing people talk about a medicine that could help with weight loss and actually keep it off I was all in. I did some research and after to the doctor we decided this is was the route to take. I took it for a few months along to start my weight loss journey and once I got to where I wanted to be I was able to stop taking with no side effects and have been able to keep the weight off with continued exercise.

I have struggled with weight my entire life. I have been dieting ever since I turned 12. Overtime, I developed insulin resistance and that made my weight loss struggle even more difficult. My journey wasn’t the best. From the beginning I was very constipated and fatigued. Of the 6-8 weeks that I was on, I only lost about 10lbs which I quickly gained back after taking a break. It possibly made my anxiety worse. It didn’t help that I didn’t trust the compounded version 100%

I started taking Semaglutide in October of this year. At first it seemed to be working for me and I was loosing weight and my symptoms were tolerable. The second month was horrific, I experienced severe constipation and anxiety attacks. Not to mention when I took my 5th week dose i immediately threw up and got extremely sick. Needless to say I discontinued taking the weekly injections. It does work for many but it did not work for me.

I went in with low expectations in Feb 2023, and lost 8 pounds that 1st month on the lowest dose. I have now lost over 60 pounds. I had given up and thought I would be overweight for the rest of my life. Minor side effects, constipation being the main one, but manageable. People have asked how, and I gladly tell them the truth. I feel like the poster child for semaglutide. I've gone from a 2X to a (loose) L, and just bought a pair of size 14 pants that are still a bit too big. After being a 20 to 22, it's so nice to be at a normal size again. I am spending a bit too much on clothes right now, as it's fun to have cute outfits again. So you've been warned.

It was a very seamless experience and even helped with my periods by decreasing cramps and removing PMS. It got me to my goal weight as well which was super helpful given I’ve done CICO with minimal success on my own

I’ve lost 8 pounds so far, in 3 months. It’s not as quick as I had hoped, but I am hopeful that I will lose more after I increase my dose. Also hoping that the slow weight loss will mean that it will be easier to sustain aince I do plan on getting off of this medication after reaching my goal weight. I have not had too many side effects- the worst was cramping and diarrhea after eating a bit too much. You have to be careful not to eat too much- I can eat only less than half my “usual” amount currently. I’m also a bit more fatigued and sleep more than before.

I have PCOS and Semaglutide has helped regulate my blood sugar levels, insulin resistance, and helped with steady weight loss. I’ve also incorporated a healthy diet and consistent exercise- mostly walking. I find Semaglutide to be beneficial to my overall health and wellbeing. I’ve used this medication for several months & lowered my BMI and lost 10% body weight.

Has totally changed my life for the better. I am losing weight easily and with very little side effects. I have lost weight and always gained it back plus some. This is the first time in my life where I feel like I can sustain a permanent weight loss.
